Simon Reid
Before starting to promote his own parties (Irresistible) back in 2003 Simon was inspired to take up playing house music by trips to the White Isle (Ibiza) and seeing some of the worlds top DJ's in action.
By running his own nights Simon was able to put on the type of djs that at the time he felt were up and coming in the London scene and were playing the sort of music that made a good night out, with the djs spinning soulful grooves Simon used the night to gain experience playing to a crowd and get more confidence behind the decks. It didn't take long for other promoters to ask for his services for their nights with residencies at Cafe De Paris and The River Bar (Maidstone) soon following.
Simons style is rooted in DEEP & SOULFUL HOUSE with guest spots all over the UK, IBIZA, MIAMI and ASIA including playing at Nic Fanciulli's Fandango partys at Turnmills, Bobby&Steve & Friends at Herbal, Dazzle in Ibiza, Swank Recordings party in Miami as well as guest spots in Thailand. He has also held down residencies in London playing at Lee Chapman's bar in Clapham SO.UK and is currently resident at PLAN B in Brixton on Saturdays for Compact Disco/Favouritizm nights as well as twice yearly in the VIP room at the legendary SOUTHPORT WEEKENDERS where he has played alongside some of the worlds top DJ Talent.
